Seniors have been wishful for a senior prom ever since they were freshmen. Despite our circumstances and restrictions, the prom committee put on a show. The prom committee consisted of seven seniors; Trystan Fogg, Nicole Moran, Caroline Grace Butler, Sameer Augustine, Lexi Olsen, Emily Smith, and Callie Heimbach. They were able to promote the best prom our seniors could get. They started planning at the very beginning of the year, looking at every possibility to make our seniors happy. The committee got together several times a month, and decided on a final plan at the beginning of April. That was, prom would be held on April 17th, outside at the Alexandrian Hotel in Old Town. Seniors were required to wear masks at all times, and provide a negative PCR test two days prior to the dance. The protocols after prom consisted of a five day quarantine from the school community, along with two negative PCR tests in order to return. The Alexandrian Hotel was a perfect venue for this special tradition. There were beautiful lights all over the dance floor that set the tone for a wonderful night. Prom night was not only beautiful, but eventful.

As Senior staff members of the Voice we are so thankful for the administration, Ms. Sandoval, and the Prom planning committee who made this memorable event possible!
